Skip The Dishes tells us what Kamloops ordered the most of in 2019

Skip the Dishes is taking a look back at what locals ordered in 2019.

It turns out Kamloops residents love their burgers. Especially with bacon.

Bacon cheeseburgers take the top spot for the most ordered item in town, with more than 4,500 orders placed.

"If you stacked every burger ordered on top of one another, it'd reach the top of Tod Mountain nearly 1.5 times!" reads a press release from Skip The Dishes.

Miso soup came in second place, with nearly 4,000 orders, followed by beef donair. The latter was ordered more than 1,300 times.

Compared to other cities, the Tournament Capital's delivery favourites stand out from the crowd. The top three orders in Canada were butter chicken, poutine and dynamite rolls.

Looking at users' favourite restaurants in Kamloops, Skip The Dishes says people love their Hatsuki Sushi and Sushi Plus.

Meanwhile, the biggest order in Kamloops came to a whopping $500. That may seem high, but it's not. Someone in the Greater Toronto Area ordered $4,004 worth of food. (Hopefully, that person used a points credit card, just sayin'.)

The person who ordered the most often in Kamloops this year ordered a total of 332 times. That's literally an order every day from Jan. 1 until now. The nation's most frequent orderer more than doubled that, with 764 orders so far.
