Frenchies Poutinerie's last day in Kamloops is Feb. 27.
The downtown poutine shop is closing as owner Elie Hanna is relocating the business to Victoria this spring.
"THANK YOU Kamloops for giving us a chance to prosper, grow and learn all while being patient with us. This community is so wonderful and we are lucky to have called this place our home," states a post on the restaurant's Facebook page. "Because of this community we have learned how to become a better business for our customers."
The plan is to return to Kamloops once Frenchies has its franchise papers, the post states.
The business has been for sale on Facebook Marketplace for a couple weeks.
