A developer is looking to turn a parking lot by the Dunes at Kamloops Golf Club into a new strata project.
The proposed development would be a 39-unit, four-storey building on Dunes Drive on the western side of the golf course, near the course's clubhouse and restaurant and the West Pines strata development.
The multi-family development would be a strata. Units in the new building will range from a two bedroom home with office space to small studio units.
According to city documents, council will be deciding this week on issuing a development permit for it. A report from city staff states the land for the project was subdivided for the purpose of the building in 2018 and is properly zoned.
Council will be debating and voting on the issue at Tuesday's (April 7) council meeting.
