If your a fan of the fine arts, then there's some good news for you on July 7.
That's the day the Kamloops Art Gallery is reopening their doors after shutting down for months due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
"As we re-open, our priority is the safety of all visitors and staff. Following government guidelines, new protocols are in place to ensure you have a safe and enjoyable visit," states the gallery administration in a press release.
It'll be open Tuesdays to Saturdays 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. with free admission on Thursdays (thanks to an agreement with the BCLC).
The new protocols include limiting access in different parts of the gallery and enforcing social distancing. Additionally the washroom and the parkade at the TNRD Civic Building (which houses the gallery in downtown Kamloops) are closed.
