A pale ale made by Bright Eye Brewing has made a BC Ale Trail list.
The "Drew Berrymore" is one of 10 beers included a blog post about "best summer beers."
"This beautiful beer was conditioned on fresh blackberry and raspberry pure and then dry hopped with Citra and Strata," reads the write-up.
Other B.C. beers to make the list include:
- Tropicool Smoothie Sour by Parallel 49 Brewing
- Forager Salal Berry Saison by Mount Arrowsmith Brewing
- Barracuda Summer Ale by Small Block Brewing
- Currant Swill by Whistle Buoy Brewing
- All Inclusive Pineapple & Coconut Sour by Wheelhouse Brewing
- Jambrosia Raspberry Wheat Ale by Whitetooth Brewing
- Pamplemousse Pale Ale by Howe Sound Brewing
- Greg West Coast IPA from Four Winds Brewing
- Peach Hefeweizen from Persepone Brewing
The 10 beers were taken from a bigger list of 60+ beers.
Kamloops' Noble Pig Brewhouse also got a nod for its patio and seasonal brews (Chris HAMsworth, a 'hunky' blond ale; 2'PIG, a West Coast IPA; and V for Viendetta, a Vienna lager).
