What's playing at the Kamloops drive-in theatre?

Upcoming drive-in movies

If you're looking for something to do the next two weekends, the local drive-in theatre is (now) always an option.

Twin Rivers is showing Inside Out and The Force Awakens this weekend (July 17 to 19) and Zootopia and The Avengers the following weekend (July 24 to 26).

The drive-in theatre at the McArthur Island Sports Centre launched last month as a pop-up event. It was so popular that organizers (the Kamloops Film Society, Lee's Music, GK Sound, Tourism Kamloops and the City of Kamloops) announced they would keep it going all summer long. Movies will run Friday to Sunday until the end of September, in the south-facing parking lot.

Occupancy is limited to 50 vehicles per evening, with no more than six people per car.

Tickets are $25 for couples, $35 for a family (three to four per car) and $45 for a large family (up to six). The ticket covers the price of both movies.

The first flick starts at 9:30 p.m. sharp, with doors at 9 p.m.
