The COVID-19 pandemic won't stop Kamloops Pride from going ahead this year.
But it'll be with a twist. Gatherings will take place via Zoom and Twitch, instead of in person.
Organizers of the fourth annual tradition are hosting a handful of Pride events starting this Friday, Aug. 14.
The first is the Queerantine Online Dance Party (8 p.m.), following by Sip IN! Online Pride Bingo (Aug. 15 at 7 p.m.), DRAG(DOT)COM (Aug. 15 at 8:30 p.m.), and Pride Talks (Aug. 16 at 1 p.m.).
Unlike the last few years, there won't be a Pride Parade this year because of the virus.
