Police are looking for a suspect after a brazen armed robbery Tuesday at a Kamloops bank.
Mounties were called to a bank in the 1200-block of Summit Drive just after 2:30 p.m. for a report of a robbery with a firearm.
“According to the report, a man in his 40s or 50s approached a teller, demanded money and brandished a handgun,” RCMP Const. Crystal Evelyn said in a news release.
“With money in his hands, the man fled westbound on foot.”
The suspect is described as a man with fair skin in his 40s or 50s standing five-foot-10 and weighing 190 pounds. He was wearing a black toque, a faded dark jacket, blue jeans, brown shoes and a navy blue COVID-19 mask.
