Some Kamloops residents are making an effort to support local businesses, as economic impacts of the pandemic continue.

A steady rise of COVID-19 cases across B.C. has led to new public health orders aimed at stopping the spread of the virus and variants. The new measures, announced last week, have put a temporary stop to indoor dining at restaurants and halted group fitness classes, among other restrictions.

Some business owners have said they are taking another hit after an already difficult year.
