Sandman Centre open for up to 50 per cent capacity for preseason Blazers games

Blazers to welcome fans

Sandman Centre could be half full on Friday when the Kamloops Blazers open their Western Hockey League preseason campaign.

The club announced Tuesday that it could admit up to 50 per cent capacity for exhibition games against Prince George on Friday and Kelowna next week.

“To attend, spectators are required to show proof of full vaccination and wear a mask in accordance with Interior Health and provincial health officer restrictions,” the team said in a release.

Puck drop is slated for 7 p.m. for both games.

Tickets for both preseason games will go on sale at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, for purchase online or at the Sandman Centre box office.

Season ticket holders will have special pricing available only at the box office.

Box office hours are 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday, and 9 a.m. to game time on Friday.
