A woman was arrested following an attempted robbery last weekend at a North Shore convenience store.
Police were called to the 7-Eleven on Eighth Street and Richmond Avenue just before midnight on Sept. 11 for a report of an attempted robbery.
According to Mounties, the woman passed a threatening note to a store clerk demanding cash.
“When the request was denied, the woman left on foot but was located by police a short distance away and arrested,” RCMP Const. Crystal Evelyn said in a news release.
The woman was released pending the outcome of the investigation.
