Highway 5 reopened overnight after serious collision south of Clearwater

DriveBC advises the crash scene south of Clearwater on Highway 5 was cleared as of 2:45 a.m.

There is no word on the nature of the collision or any injuries involved.

Drivers on Highway 5 north of Kamloops are being told to “expect major delays” following a collision just south of Clearwater.

According to Drive BC, the crash has the Yellowhead Highway blocked.

“Please use caution and expect major delays,” the agency said on Twitter at about 11:15 p.m.

“Flaggers en route.”
