A Kamloops RCMP cruiser suffered minor damage early Thursday morning in a hit-and-run crash at a downtown gas station.
According to a news release, a Mountie was gassing up an RCMP vehicle at a gas station on 10th Street at about 4:45 a.m. when the incident took place.
RCMP Const. Crystal Evelyn said a black van backed into the front of the cruiser.
The suspect vehicle was located on the Overlanders Bridge, Evelyn said, and the driver was ticketed for having no license and failing to remain at the scene of a collision.
