Several bus routes will be modified on Sunday to accommodate Christmas parade.
Santa Claus is coming to town Sunday and several Kamloops bus routes will be impacted.
Many bus routes will have detours and stop closures on Sunday between noon and 6 p.m. to accommodate the City of Kamloops’ Christmas Parade.
The routes that will be affected are: 1 Tranquille, 2 Parkcrest, 3 Westsyde, 6 Downtown Loop, 7 Aberdeen, 9 Gleneagles, 16 Juniper Ridge and 17 Dallas.
BC Transit said the Lansdowne Exchange will be closed from 3 to 6 p.m. and a temporary exchange will be located on St. Paul Street between 4th and 5th Ave.
Residents are asked to check Kamloops NextRide before taking transit to see detour routes.
Regular service will resume at 6 p.m. Sunday.
