Drugs and cash seized from vehicle on the North Shore, police say

Police say more than 300 grams of illegal drugs and $3000 in cash were seized from a vehicle on the North Shore.

Last Saturday, around 8 a.m., Mounties said they were patrolling the 600-block of Schubert Drive when they saw two people sleeping in the front seat of a vehicle along with paraphernalia consistent with drug use and trafficking.

Both people were arrested for drug possession, according to police.

Roughly $3000 in cash, 300 grams of suspected drugs and other items, including identification and electronics suspected to be stolen, were seized as part of the investigation.
