Environment Canada forecasting high temperatures for weekend

Warm weekend ahead

It will finally feel like summer in the Tournament Capital, according to Environment Canada’s weekend forecast.

The weekend starts off with a mainly sunny Friday reaching a high of 25 C with an overnight low dropping down to 13 C.

Saturday and Sunday are both expected to be sun-filled — Saturday with a high of 26 C and overnight low of 12 C, and Sunday with a high of 29 C and a low of 14 C.

The temperature really cranks up on Monday, with more sunny conditions and a high of 32 C in the forecast.

Environment Canada expects the heat wave to break early next week, with showers expected on Tuesday and Wednesday.

For those looking to stargaze, this weekend is the time to do it. Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights are all looking at clear sky.
