The emergency room at Dr. Helmcken Memorial Hospital in Clearwater will remain closed overnight.
The closure is due to a limited availability of staff to work the ED.
According to a brief bulletin from Interior Health, the emergency room at the hospital in Clearwater will stay closed until 7 a.m. Tuesday morning when full service is expected to resume.
In the event of an emergency, people are advised to call 911, or divert to Royal Inland Hospital in Kamloops.
