The Kamloops Symphony’s popular annual used book and music sale will soon be back for its 25th year.
KSO’s popular semi-annual fundraiser Barb's Used Book & Music Sale returns to 444 Seymour St. from Nov. 12 to Nov. 26.
According to KSO, the majority of the stock — including gently used books, sheet music, vinyl records, DVDs and CDs — have been donated and will be sold for $2.
All the proceeds raised will support the symphony’s operating expenses, KSO said.
For those interested in getting first dibs at the sale, KSO is releasing 50 early bird tickets for $25 each. Early bird ticket holders will be able to skip the line and get early access to the event at 9 a.m., on the opening Saturday. Early bird tickets can be bought here, or by calling the Kamloops Symphony office at 250-372-5000.
In addition to early access, ticket holders will get a voucher for one free KSO Up Close ticket to see the KSO's concert Evocative Elegance, on Nov. 12 at 7:30 p.m.
KSO will be accepting donations for the sale at 444 Seymour St. from Tuesday to Thursday next week, 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.
The sale will run noon to 6 p.m. Mondays to Fridays, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturdays and noon to 4 p.m. on Sundays.
