DriveBC reports the crash scene on Highway 5 near Barriere has now been cleared.
UPDATE: 9:35 a.m.
DriveBC reports that Highway 5 has reopened to single-lane, alternating traffic following a collision five kilometres south of Barriere.
Vehicle recovery is underway. Expect delays.

A crash has closed Highway 5 at Barriere.
Details of the incident are unknown at this time, but DriveBC reports a vehicle incident southbound between Russell Street and Hanson Road.
The highway is closed and a scene assessment is in progress.
No detour is available.
It's not known if anyone was injured in the incident.
