Naked jogger arrested

A naked man jogging on Seventh Street in North Kamloops on Sunday was arrested by police and taken to Royal Inland Hospital for assessment.

Mounties said they received a report of the streaker at about 3:15 p.m. Video posted to social media shows the nude man running down Seventh Street south of Richmond Avenue.

“Frontline officers located him as he ran past the North Shore community policing detachment,” RCMP Cpl. Crystal Evelyn said.

“He was arrested and placed inside a warm police vehicle, then transported to cells, assessed by paramedics and taken to the hospital for assessment.”
