Crash kills Kelowna woman

Twenty-nine year old Jamie Kathleen Doornbosch of Kelowna has been identified as one of two people killed in a motor vehicle accident last week.

The crash occurred Friday near Tete Jaune Cache, a small community on Highway 5 just south of the junction with Highway 16.

Doornbosch was the passenger in a vehicle driven by Paul John Constantineau, 28, of Thorsby, Alta.

Constantineau was also killed.

The vehicle was heading east on Highway 16 shortly after midnight on June 26, when, about 36 kilometres east of Tete Jaune Cache, the car left the roadway, entered a ditch and rolled.

Both occupants were deceased at the scene.

No cause has yet been determined.

The B.C. Coroners Service and RCMP Traffic Services continue to investigate the deaths.
