ORIGINAL: 8:45 p.m.

RCMP is asking the public to help find a missing Kelowna woman.

Vanessa Mataya Tarr was last seen Oct. 6.

“There is nothing to indicate foul play at this time and police believe she is either in Kelowna or Kamloops,” said Const. Jesse O’Donaghey. “Since Vanessa Tarr’s disappearance, police have followed up on several leads and possible sightings, however Vanessa Tarr remains missing.”

O’Donaghey said police are “very concerned for Tarr’s health and well-being and friends and family report that it is out of character for her to be out of contact for this long.

Tarr is a Caucasian female, 27 years old, 5'6” tall, 119 pounds with brown hair and hazel eyes.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Tarr is urged to contact police, or remain anonymous by calling Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477, leaving a tip online at crimestoppers.net or by texting your tip to CRIMES (274637) ktown.
