Evening milling and paving on Enterprise Way

Summer is here and so is road construction season.

Starting July 13, Enterprise Way from Spall Road to Banks Road will be closed between 7 p.m. and 5 a.m. for road resurfacing. 

"While road work can be inconvenient for travelers, regular maintenance helps extend the life of roads and manage long-term costs. Crews aim to schedule and coordinate road work to minimize negative impacts on neighbouring residents, commuters and visitors," says Bruce Dacre in Kelowna's Roadways Construction Department.

This project was funded in part by Federal Gas Tax funds which provides long-term funding to local governments and other organizations to help them build and revitalize public infrastructure. 

"The City of Kelowna and workers on site appreciate the patience of residents, businesses and motorists while road work is underway. Noise due to the road resurfacing is expected," says Dacre.

Work is expected to be complete on July 24, weather permitting.
