Police and emergency vehicles have converged on a home on Glenwood Avenue

UPDATE:

Kelowna RCMP say the incident on Glenwood Avenue was for a medical call.

Police won't be speaking further on the matter.

There's a large police presence on Glenwood Avenue near Richter Street.

A witness in the area says as many as eight RCMP vehicles and an ambulance descended on the home around 8 a.m.

There's no indication yet as to why police have arrived in such large numbers.

Castanet has a reporter heading to the area.
