After a sustained period of clear blue skies for the later part of the summer, some smoke could be returning briefly to the Okanagan.
A smoky skies bulletin was issued Saturday morning for the entire Okanagan Valley.
“Cooler overnight temperatures and light inflow winds have created favourable conditions for the propagation of smoke along the Okanagan Valley,” the bulletin states.
“Smoke is expected to clear in most areas by Sunday afternoon.”
Some haze sits above Kelowna as of Saturday morning.
Most of the B.C. Interior has been impacted by smoke for a number of weeks this summer, as hundreds of fires have burned across the province.
Temperatures are expected to stay in the mid-20s through next week, with sunshine and partly cloudy days forecast.
