Local MLA takes part in Lake Country art show and sale

The Lake Country annual fundraiser and art show will feature a well-known politician this year.

Norm Letnick, MLA for Kelowna-Lake Country, has been chosen to design this year’s feature wall for the Over/Under 100 art show and sale at Lake Country Art Gallery's annual fundraiser art show.

"The Lake Country Art Gallery is pleased to announce that our local MLA Norm Letnick will be the guest designer of the feature wall for the annual fundraising member show and sale," says the show's organizing committee.

"This year’s show will be a little different so we wanted to kick it off right, Norm, assisted by his artist wife Helene Letnick, will be in the gallery on Saturday, November 27 at 1 p.m. to choose the artwork and design the feature wall," says the show’s organizing committee.

The show will feature 60 artists and nearly 400 works of art, with a wider range of sizes and prices available this year.

The show goes Saturday, December 4 but there is an opportunity to get a sneak peek on Friday, Dec. 3.
