Police make arrest in Kelowna's South Pandosy, both suspects released

Takedown in parking lot

UPDATE 3:59 p.m.

Kelowna RCMP tell Castanet they were responding to a report of two men fighting in the 3000 block of Lakeshore Rd. Wednesday afternoon.

RCMP Const. Mike Della-Paolera says they received a report of a fight between two men, one of them was reportedly armed with a baseball bat.

"We came across two questionable characters (people who are known to police and won't cooperate) after receiving the report. They fled and were apprehended."

But Const. Della-Paolera says no weapon was found and neither man would cooperate with police so they were both released after a short detainment.
