Police seek identity of woman allegedly involved in brawl at Kelowna Steve-O show

Brawl suspect sought

Police in Kelowna are seeking the public’s help identifying a woman allegedly involved in a brawl at a Steve-O performance last year.

The incident took place at the Kelowna Community Theatre on Oct. 28, 2022 when a couple was asked to lower their voices near the start of the show.

“Two males began fighting and then a female began punching two women, causing several non-life-threatening injuries,” said CrimeStoppers of the Central Okanagan.

“Additionally, police request any onlookers who have video of the melee contact the investigating officer.”

A video taken from the event shows two men fighting, while a woman is also seen throwing punches.

A woman who was attacked in the brawl told Castanet afterwards she sustained two black eyes, a swollen lip and a broken nose at the hands of her female attacker, while her sister-in-law received a black eye and a large “goose egg” on her head.

“I don't really remember because I got hit, she punched me once and then punched me twice,” the woman said. “I sat down and turtled and put my hands over my head and she was just swinging and swinging.

“She was like an octopus with eight arms, she was a Goliath. Just eyes closed and swinging, she was just mad at the world.”

Anyone with information is urged to contact Central Okanagan Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or www.crimestoppers.net. You could earn a cash reward.
