Two years after they were originally scheduled to perform, a Romani dance group will get a chance to take the stage in Kelowna.
Roma Gry was expected to perform two years ago but, due to the pandemic, those shows had to be postponed.
The group will perform at the Rotary Centre for the Arts this Sunday, Jan. 29 at 6 p.m.
Roma Gry features live music and dance featuring international artists from Poland, Russia, Ukraine, Belarus and Chile.
"In times when the situation in Eastern Europe is so horrific, we immigrants who now call Canada home bring unity through the art of the unique ethnicity - Romani people.
"Our goal is to bring the culture, music and dance of the Romani people alive."
Tickets for the show are available at the Rotary Centre for the Arts box office or at the door.
