There have been several letters posted recently about the recent spread of the virus in Kelowna.
It is certainly unfortunate that this has happened.
It seems that no matter how hard you try to educate people and hope they will do the right thing, inevitably it backfires
Some individuals will do whatever they want with no consideration for anyone but themselves.
Like it has been stated, they leave the virus and go on their merry way.
It would be a shame if we have to go back into a lockdown at this stage after all the progress that was made.
I certainly hope that does not happen.
To blame Mayor Basran and council for the recent surge after reopening Kelowna is also not fair.
Until there is a vaccine, there will always be a chance that this will happen if people don’t use their common sense.
To keep the city locked down until there is a vaccine is also not fair to the business owners in our community and the employees that work at them.
We all need to do our part to control the spread of the virus.
