Thoughts on Walmart masks

I will not shop at WalMart because of forced masking

We are not a communist country yet

No randomized controlled trial study with verified outcome exists that shows a benefit from a broad policy to wear masks in public.

I am 78 years old and my husband left a Communist country in Hungary when he was 18 years. old.

I quit going to Walmart a few months ago because I appeared to be in the minority, wearing a face mask and social distancing. I returned yesterday only because of the new rules of mask wearing and was shocked to see so many people without masks, when I inquired about the new rule I was told that some people have notes that they are unable to wear masks.

I told the clerk I had only been in the store for fifteen minutes and had already counted close to thirty people without masks and I didn’t believe there were that many notes handed in. I for one will not be going back anytime soon!

Nope, not doing it. No more shopping there.

It's my choice to not support certain businesses.

Mandatory masks will keep me away from any such business.

Good. It keeps all of us safer.
Here in Calgary whenever you walk into any retail store or public building, its mandatory to wear masks and just what's wrong with that? Don't we all want to see this end eventually?

Keeping in mind we are in public people sneeze people cough. Masks project us from the droplets to spread. Simple. It's a no brainer.  Why are people fighting this.

I will no longer be shopping at Walmart. I don't feel it's s safe place. Wearing a mask tells me it's not safe.

This is a great idea and a very smart move on Walmart's decision.  Now we need the provincial government mandate to make face masks mandatory.  Hope Dr Henry makes this decision soon as we could be in a mess.
