I’d like to add my two bits towards the story about those pesky scooters.
I wouldn’t mind them if the riders had a better understanding of the rules of the road. I’m sure a good majority of them don’t have their licences or even read the rules that come with the use of them. I’ve seen them on the bicycle lanes on the road at dusk, which I believe is the hardest time to see them. One had a light the size of a Christmas light and his 2 other friend had no lights going down Gordon. Mega dangerous! I didn’t see them till I was right up to them. At least if they had a traffic vest on it would help. Reflector tape on the scooter wood help too. U-turns in the middle of the road over solid white/yellow lines is a no no. Riding in a bunch doesn’t cut it with me.
Eventually someone is going to get hurt or worse. Why wait till then to fix the problems. Do it now!
