Keep the borders closed till the Divided States of America gets their virus problems solved. The latest openings; in my humble opinion is ludicrous.

Definitely think it’s far too soon. Our vaccination rate needs to be far higher & also we need to have had to have had both vaccinations.
Know of someone in Edmonton who got one if the variants four weeks after her 1st vaccines everyone at the outdoor gathering got it except one person who was double vaccinated. Opening too soon is like playing with fire. BC numbers are just starting to go down. That is not the case with other provinces.

No we don’t need the border open as people can lie about having the Vaccine plus the Virus is not gone yet it’s still too early to think about opening it wait until phase 4.

The United States is way ahead of us in their inoculation levels. I am 53 and am still waiting one more week to get my first dose, so it will be into June before I’m protected. It is too soon to open the border now, maybe in the Fall. We need more Canadians vaccinated first.
