Letter writers Ed Davidson and Hamish MacKinnon believe that unvaccinated people should "pay for their health care", either through higher premiums or higher deductibles.
This seems to be quite a popular sentiment around the Okanagan Valley these days.
But where does this end? Mr. Davidson and Mr. MacKinnon, unless your lives are completely devoid of cheeseburgers, cigarettes, alcohol, or couch-surfing, I suggest that you rethink your demands.
I, for one, don't want some politician or bureaucrat deciding whose life is, and whose is not, so lily-white as to "deserve" free health care. Do you?
