While privilege on blue line

Re: History of the Thin Blue Line (Castanet, Oct. 12)

Often, what is considered civility, good, and order is defined by a white supremacist ideology.

I have listened to enough officers and lay people spew hatred toward people of colour and the disadvantaged to know that the "thin blue line" does not represent what you claim it does.

Your privilege needs to be recognized and your views reevaluated in light of it.
