I see Shell Oil recently reported a $9.1 billion profit for the first four months this year, compared to a $3 billion profit the first four months of 2021.
The Canadian government and provinces are also enjoying huge unexpected revenues from oil and gas increases.
It is time for the premiers of all the provinces to address this situation. We must try to build more pipelines and refineries for Canada and make Canada self-sufficient. Once we are self-sufficient, we can send excess oil to the U.S. as (U.S. President Joe) Biden is the one who cancelled the Keystone XL Pipeline without consulting our government. Time for payback.
Can you imagine Canada having it's own, made-in-Canada price for oil?
