Having read the Kelowna by law against more than one minute of idling; I applaud the city'ss efforts to stem the effects of motor vehicles on the environment.
In the spirit of that by law I would like to report excessive idling on Hwy 97 all day long between West Kelowna and Reid's Corner.
Now I know you'll say 97 is under provincial authority, but it seems to me that the province has been upgrading 97 almost constantly over the last 20 years and can still not keep up with the uncontrollable growth of the city I was born in.
If the city is concerned about idling it should clean its own act first.
