I am an older gentleman who relies on the Kelowna buses to travel and go to work.
Unfortunately, it is school season again meaning the buses are packed at all hours with students who obviously have never been taught manners and are too absorbed in their cellphones to offer a seat to people with bags of groceries or other items. I have seen them not get up for people in wheelchairs or with baby carriages.
Maybe the city needs dedicated buses just for students so the rest of us can actually get on the bus.
I hope some of these self-absorbed students read this but I wouldn't bet on it. The future generation needs to learn consideration for others and not just themselves.
