How could this happen in our hospitals?
The story of Ayla Loseth dying at the age of 9 is so tragic. My heart goes out to the Loseth family.
With all of her symptoms, I cannot believe the doctors and nurses did not take this more seriously. To basically say she will get over the flu and to take her home is outrageous.
We are not in a Third World Country here. Yes, the hospital is short staffed but all her signs should have been an indication that something was very wrong with this little girl.
It is extremely heart-breaking.
To the Loseth family I am so sorry for your loss. I hope you get the answers you deserve.
