Four people are cold and wet but uninjured after their boat capsized near Peachland.
Fire and rescue crews were called out around 6 p.m. to Beach Ave after receiving a report of an overturned boat with people in the water.
According to police on scene, there were four people on the boat and all were brought safely to shore.
The boaters took off from Penticton, Tuesday morning, and spent the day on Okanagan Lake, however when they turned to head home their watercraft started to take on water.
The vessel was approximately 15-16 feet in size and had to be towed to shore.
Police believe wind may have added to the boaters troubles after they began to sink. Witnesses report seeing four people huddled together under blankets after they were brought to shore.
