The B.C. Coroners Service has identified the man killed in Thursday’s head-on collision, south of Peachland.
Oliver resident Grant Orville Wheeler, 81, was driving northbound on Highway 97 when the vehicle he was driving struck a southbound semi tractor-trailer at Brent Road.
Wheeler died at the scene, while his female passenger was taken to Kelowna General Hospital for treatment. The identity of the woman has not been released.
The Coroners Service and RCMP Traffic Services continue to investigate the death.
