A series of drug busts in Osoyoos has prevented over $2 million of drugs from hitting the streets.
Oliver-Osoyoos RCMP discovered evidence of a small grow op in the 4700 block of Green Lake Road. About 100 plants were discovered in an outdoor operation. Police also found evidence that led them to a residence on Green Lake Road.
Inside the second site, police found a sophisticated grow op that consisted of 2,300 plants in various stages of growth. Their estimated street value is $2.3 million. A hydro bypass was being used to power the operation. The property owners may face legal action for theft.
