Dancing blue mules, clowns and confetti were just part of the sights on Saturday morning.
The Peach Fest Parade drew thousands of people down to Main Street and Lakeside Drive in Penticton. The parade started with a demonstration by the Vancouver Police Department motorcycle drill team. Floats and visiting royalty from towns all over BC also took part in the two hour parade.
Spectator Mary-Anne Conners says the parade was fantastic.
“I loved all floats, the one from the Calgary Stampede was amazing. I think it was better then last year's parade,” says Conners.
The parade will be broadcast on Shaw TV later this week, hosted by Dennis Walker and Andrea Macpherson of Giant FM.
