New Transit Link?

Two Summerland students think their town is too isolated.

Sam Haslam and Drew Harris have started an online petition asking for a transit link between Summerland and Penticton.

Harris says a transit system would allow students to attend events and activities in Penticton.

He says having a way to get back and forth between the two areas would allow many people to access medical services and specialists which are not available in Summerland.

The petition can be found at the Summerland Secondary School office, the Summerland Walk-In Clinic or online.
