Two Kelowna residents out on bail for previous drug charges have been arrested in Summerland.
The 41-year-old man and 37-year-old woman were driving on Highway 97 near Summerland on Tuesday when police pulled them over for a vehicle check.
The pair was arrested after police found more an ounce of cocaine in the vehicle.
The man was on probation from Kelowna for charges of possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking from an incident in Summerland on August 29.
The woman was sentenced in Kelowna on December 14 for possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking and had been given eight months house arrest.
Charges of breach of recognizance, obstruction of a peace officer and possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking are being recommended against the two.
