KVSR Wrap-Up

The Kettle Valley Steam Railway's 2006 season came to a close December 17 after four sold-out Christmas Express Trains.

"We are very pleased that Okanagan Valley residents are making this historic attraction an annual part of their Christmas experience," says Jo Anne Reynolds, KVRS Marketing Manager.

She says because of the interest, two more evening runs will be added to the
2007 Christmas slate.

The KVSR has topped last year's ridership with some 23,000 people riding the train this year. Around 22,700 took the train in 2005.

"The creation of some new special event trains this year helped bring more riders to the KVSR," says Reynolds.
