Two Cars In Ditch

Two cars have ended up in the ditch on the same stretch of road near Penticton.

The first vehicle, a red truck, left the road on Highway 97, about five kilometres south of the city, just before 11 Tuesday morning.

The driver of the truck was not injured.

Just after 11, a second vehicle went off the road less than 100 feet from the truck. It also landed in the ditch and the driver was also unhurt.

Traffic was slowed to one lane as emergency officials investigated the
scene.
