The Jaws of Life were required following a single vehicle accident near Penticton.
The crash happened at around noon Wednesday on Highway 97 about five kilometres south of Penticton where a northbound truck lost control. The vehicle landed upside down and the Jaws of Life were needed to get the two occupants out.
The extent of injuries is not known.
The incident forced the closure of the highway for more than an hour.
Slippery road conditions caused by Wednesday's heavy, wet snowfall are believed to be the cause of the accident.
