A forum is underway in Naramata to discuss the proposed South Okanagan-Similkameen national park.
Event organizer and wildlife ecologist, John Theberge, says the main topic of the two-day forum is the potential environmental impact the park could have on the area.
He says more research into the area’s resilience and vulnerabilities need to be done.
Theberge says the forum is one of the largest environmental workshops in B.C. and will feature ecological and environmental experts.
The forum will wrap up Tuesday afternoon.
