S'land Water Advisory

A water quality advisory has been issued for users of the Garnett Valley Water System in Summerland.

The advisory includes residents of Gallagher Street, Handley Street, Wildhorse Road and Garnett Valley Road.

Recent testing has shown the water quality has increased turbidity.

The water quality advisory issued at the beginning of April for users of the Trout Creek Water System remains in effect.

Interior Health recommends children, the elderly and those with weakened immune systems drink boiled water until further notice. Water should be boiled for at least one minute.
